Well, it's been a bit more difficult keeping this website up-to-date than I had hoped. Apparently babies take work! Who knew?!?! Anyway, Alexa is now two months old and just had a checkup and shots yesterday. Boy do those things make a kid cranky! Aside from that, she's doing great. Growing and changing so fast I can hardly believe it. She weighs 10 pounds 8 ounces now, and is 22.5 inches long. Her looks and mennerisms have changed sooo much in just two months. You'll have to look at the pictures; words don't do it justice. She's much more interactive now and very smiley... when she's not hungry or tired, anyway. She certainly is a lot of fun and we feel extremely blessed to have her in our lives.
Oh, and yes, she looks like her mother... which is good. :)

Today, both Alexa and mom were released from the hospital. We packed up and headed for home in the early afternoon. It is wonderful to have this precious little girl home, albeit a bit daunting. It's quite a change from our previously mundane life.

This morning, Alexa Faith was born. She was 7 pounds 11.1 ounces, and 20.5 inches long. She has a full head of dark brown hair and big beautiful eyes. We can't decide who she looks like, but I guess that's OK. She and mother are both doing very well and that's all that matters.
